Judy Melton, Danny Frizzell, and Margaret Stowe, teachers at Lexington High, along with Jon Allen Anderson, with Friends of LHS, and Bobby Dyer with Magnetek, attended a Renaissance Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in the Spring of 1994. From this event, LHS Renaissance was started in 1994.

Lynn Davis, a student at LHS in 1994 drew the LHS Renaissance logo which is now painted on the walls here at Lexington High School.

Mr. Larry Biddle is known as the father and founder of Renaissance. LHS was provileged to have Mr. Biddle to speak to the entire student body in 2007 and conducted the Leadership Seminar for the LHS Renaissace Team.

During Mr. Biddle's presentation to the LHS student body, Mr. Bobby Dyer, Mayor of Lexington, presented him a key to our city.

Mr. Billy Walker with Jostens sponsors LHS Renaissance in many ways as far as financial support.
